    Hi guys!

I've started to do a short animation in VR, to be viewed with the Oculus and Samsung Gear VR
I have done plenty of still images and they look great, but have never worked with animations. In the Vray guide to VR, it is suggested to use Spherical camera instead of a Cubical one.
I would like to avoid it, since from a geometric point of view, spherical projection is way more incorrect compared to a cubical mapping. Pixels nearby the perimeter of your frame get very deformed.

Please, do you have any advice on what are the best settings for an animation in VR? IM +LC settings? Lessons learned from your previous experiences? Do you think cubical is still safe to go or spherical camera is needed for animations?

Thank you in advance for sharing some of your knowledge!
    All the best!

Another problem I am having, using a cubical camera is stitching together the frames. Adobe premiere supports up to 4096px wide frames as I'm concerned. That means that a side by side animation needs 2048 px wide frames?
This is way to low for the resolution (2048x341) per eye!
What format and setting do you guys use for VR animations?
