    There any script to flip all normals to the same direction, when an Autocad model is imported to 3DSMAX, because flip each normal one by one is a time wasting

    Hi there,

    just add a "normal" modifier to your object, active the "unify" switch
    and hope that it works =)

      The simplies way to do that is:

      Convert to MESH - Select all POLYs - Unify normals....
      That's ALL!

      Don't need ANY mods...

        Adding a modifier and collapsing the stack takes 3 clicks.
        Collapsing, selcting all faces and unifying all normals takes 5 clicks.

        So don´t fear the modifier the result is the SAME !

          THIS IS REALLY BRILLIANT !
          I would have never thought of that..... 1000000000x DUDE....
          THAT's Really COOL..... counting your CLICKs, can be the FUNNY part of modelling.... RESPECT for THAT !
