Vray 1.45.70 rebuilding RGB with other G-Buffer channels
Above are two flows which produce almost the exact same results. I don't think I need to tell you which is the more simple one.
Although the top flow gives you more control, you should really ask yourself if you need that control. Its a lot of extra work to get the same (almost) results.
The top flow has a problem that can't be avoided without some more complex work arounds. Because images are clamped in the VFB, when you add them together and they go beyond white the image loses its range of light and the results get really ugly in overbright areas.
