Heya Folks!
A friend had asked me about how to output lighting passes from vray for use in a game engine where he had the lighting, shadow and diffuse separate so it could be tweaked in 2d and I made a short video. It'll explain a simple version of how to break apart your beauty lighting in nuke to allow you to tweak colour and lighting separately and recombine the lot after. There's some technical issues that I'm not covering here such as reflection filter / energy conservation issues and likewise I'm not look at the edge issues associated with pre-multiplication, they'll come in a future video. This might be handy for anyone starting off in compositing in nuke, fusion or natron.
