your not asking too much, but these are things natty, and I and alot of other people really figured out for ourselves by doing tests! You gotta just putter around with everything until you get an understanding of it.

just skimming the thread and with the risk of sounding terrible stupid....but are you reflecting anything.
it looks like u havent got an evironment to reflect from the 1 picture you posted. Its not enough _just_ to make a material reflectable.

lol ya his camera is situated that even if he had the correct settings he probably wouldn't know it unless he positions is camera correctly or repositioned his light.
