  • Help rendering a scene

Hi I'm new to vray, I'm trying to render a camera flythru a loft but when I take a look at the finished animation I find that be gi goes crazy and I get dark spots in the walls and celing, what Am I doing wrong?

I have tried multi frame on the gi and single frame should I try incremental add?

what are the best settings for a good time/qualty gi solution?

with incremental add to current map you need to have a map chosen and have it auto save as well for it to work.

its probabaly also best to do a pre-calc IR map, by rendering every 10th frame or so and making it render only the IR map (there is an option in the global settings rollout) and make sure you save it. Then just change it back to everyframe rendering and take out the tick to render only the IR map. (must be on incremental add the whole time) This should dramatically speed up your rendering time for animations. As long as you dont have any moving objects (besides the camera) you should be fine.
