Whenever I use multisubobject materials with vray,
and im using vray basic, if i change the material bitmap channell number to anything other than 1, then I cant see the material thumbnail in the material editor, nor can i see it in the slot. If i keep them at 1, then i can see them, but alot of times when i do interiors, and exteriors, i use low poly modeling, Is there a way to stop that? Currently what I do is, i fix my material in another slot, tweak it, then after it is the way that I need it to be, i go ahead and get all of my id's matching with their polygon and uvw properties, and I copy it to the multi subobject channel in its order. But then if i need to make a change or anything, its kind of a hassle.
Anyone have any insight on this issue?
