Hi, folks here. I made a short video to show how to use blender sapling addon to make animated tree and export the tree in alembic format
to summarize in short:
Advantage of Blender Sapling tree:
1.Blender and Sapling is free . Instead of spending thousands of money purchasing Speedtree,it might be another good choice.
2.Another advatage of this method is the sapling tree is not so high-poly,it might be a ram-saver method anyway.
3.They are not in high quality,but might be great help if you want some trees in the backgroup not so high quality.
Disadvantage of Blender Sapling tree:
The disadvantage of using sapling addon is you have to UVunwrap the branches yourself.
