  • Triangulated meshes?

    Is there a reason for all these models being triangles?
    My guess is that it is to ensure compatibility between software but it does cause issues.
    It makes it very awkward when trying to reduce their sometimes extremely high poly count.
    Currently I'm having to retopologise some cars, which have certain parts that simply do not work, making it even tougher
    Is it not possible to provide quad versions?

    Hi fixeighted,
    Thanks for pointing our attention to this problem.
    We have logged an internal request to rework assets to offer quad versions out of the box (GALAXY-83.
    This might take some time on our side, though. We will update this forum thread when we are done.

      Oh that is great, thanks for the update Kalina.
      I can now forget about retopologising all of them, which would have taken me about a year
