Cosmos won't see assets already downloaded

New PC, copied my Chaos Cosmos folder into the same place it would usually live on my hard drive assets folder. Set Cosmos to use that folder as its Ássets Download Folder.

but Cosmos appears not to see these already-downloaded assets.

Any ideas?

EDIT: turns out I need to sign-in via Cosmos in-app, which launches a browser window Hadn't even noticed that was a thing!
Downloaded assets have now populated
