Connection Error Chaos Cosmos Browser on Maya

I was working with a different machine (Maya 2022.1, Windows), on same network without a problem. Then switched to mac (OS X 11.6.5. Big Sur), Maya 2022 (2022.3 and also occurs on 2022.1) and now I cannot connect to the Cosmos library. I already tried reinstall, I checked the forum posts for solutions -which suggest checking network connections and firewall-, but the later is off and the connection was working on the Windows machine... Any suggestions on how to fix the browser connection?

Hello,

Please stop your firewall program and uninstall Chaos Cosmos. Afterwards, make sure that the following folders no longer exist once you uninstall Chaos Cosmos:

/Library/ChaosGroup/ChaosCosmos
/Applications/ChaosGroup/ChaosCosmos/

Afterwards, download and install the latest Chaos Cosmos version from the following link:
https://download.chaosgroup.com/?platform=47&product=62
