Just opened Cosmos and got the usual update request yet despite only taking seconds it seems stuck updating so looks like I'll have to kill it off and hope it doesn't corrupt it. Also the issue of high CPU usage persists after closing the program requiring the process to be stopped in task Manager.

Did the Cosmos restart apply the update? Is the update notification still visible? Can you please create an issue here and attach your cb.log and config.json files, located at C:\Program files\Common files\ChaosGroup\ChaosCosmos ? As well as Installer log located in C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Temp\installer_d ebug.log
In case you observe high CPU usage again, can you please do the following:- Run diagnostics from About modal:
- Wait 1 minute
- Download the cprof file when prompted
- Attach that file to your issue
- Run diagnostics from About modal:
