  • cosmos browser cannot register the host application

    Hi,

We have been having a "cosmos browser cannot register the host application" error issue across our office since cosmos was introduced and we are wondering when this will be fixed?

It is a very sporadic issue, it does not happen to all workstations at one and there is no real patter as to when it will bug out. This is extremely frustrating to work with. When this issue occurs either restarting 3ds max or restarting the PC fixes it but obviously that is less than ideal. stopping and starting the cosmos service does not fix the issue.

We do not use a proxy server to connect, it cant be virus or firewall as it's sporadic and we have an extremely robust internet and network setup.

Any ideas why this issue persists?

    Thanks
    Jonas Andersen

We are using 3ds 2024.2.7, Corona 12 update 1 (Hotfix 1) and using License Server 6.2.0

      Hello,

This warning is because the integration (judging on your posts this is Corona for Max) does not connect to Cosmos Browser for some reason. This problem is not in Cosmos but in the integration – Corona. I will escalate this to the Corona for Max colleagues.
