  • Does cosmos only allow UNC paths?

    I'm trying to set a network path for assets for Chaos Cosmos but it is telling me that the path doesn't exist (it definitely does exist!).

    Hey Macker,

    Chaos Cosmos browser supports any form of network storage, including mapped drives, UNC paths, Google Drive/Dropbox/OneDrive so generally this shouldn't be an issue - just make sure you're using the correct syntax.

    Keep in mind that:
    1. The latest update of Cosmos requires OS restart if you want to use network storage;
    2. Please verify that your OS user has write access to the directory you try to set as Cosmos working directory;

    Could you provide more details as to how are you trying to change the directory along with some screenshots with the errors printed? Additionally, can you also share the exact Cosmos Browser version used (see from ... > About)?

      Ahhh, I haven't restarted. Perhaps that's the issue.
