Cosmos browser remembering last position

Hello. It would be great if the Cosmos browser could remember it last position on screen. I have to move every time I open it, even in the same session.

Hey, can you please share your Max version and V-Ray for Max version? It works on my end, Max 2022 V-Ray 6.

I'm using V-Ray 6 Hotfix 3 (6.00.20 build 00000) and 3ds Max 2023.

Hi,

The problem could be due user restricted permissions.

Could you please try:
- run 3dsmax as administrator and
- move/resize the cosmos browser
- shutdown 3dsmax and start again as administrator
- check the cosmos browser appearance

Can you please also check the following, using your typical user account:
1) Locate the cosmos settings storage file, if it exists at all.
It would reside on different location depending on the language you chose to start 3ds Max
- English - "C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\2023 - 64bit\ENU\en-US\plugcfg\cosmosbrowser.ini"
- Chinese - "C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\2023 - 64bit\CHS\zh-CN\plugcfg\cosmosbrowser.ini"
- Portuguese - "C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\2023 - 64bit\PTB\pt-BR\..."
- etc...

2) Try to open, edit and save the file
(for example change the number stored in posX)
