Why do my previously placed Cosmos people disappear but they still list in the select object list. Once I re import and place, exit max and then get back into my file I get 2 instances of the same model?

Hi, thanks for posting. Is this happening with a specific model only? Have you tried importing this model in a new empty scene and test the same procedure and share the result. Could you tell us the name of the asset so we can test it on our side. -
Trying to remember whether it happened after I updated Cosmos or if it happens when I convert a corona file to vray. Since that's the current workflow in order to use Vantage. Is there a feature for reloading missing Cosmos proxies?Comment

Hi, can you test a new simple scene with the assets that are causing issues and let us know the results.
Please be careful if you have Corona and V-Ray installed.
When you are using Corona, use the Corona toolbar to start your Cosmos Browser and when you use V-Ray use the V-Ray toolbar. Getting these two mixed up could cause issues.Comment
