  • Blank Cosmos

    I am at a loss with the Cosmos... so many issues. I created a new user on my PC (Windows 11), and I am getting a blank Cosmos. I uninstalled VRay and reinstalled, but no luck. What do I need to do to kick start this thing?

    My current hardware setup:
    • Ryzen 9 5900x CPU
    • 128gb Vengeance RGB Pro RAM
    • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090
    • ​Windows 11 Pro

    Hello Bobby,

    There could be many causes for this problems. We will need the logs (if any) in order to see what's wrong. But as I usually say, logs contain sensitive data, so the best way to provide us with them would be to create an issue in our tickets system and attach your cb.log and config.json files (located in C:\Program Files\Common Files\ChaosGroup\ChaosCosmos) as well as the installer log (located in C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\Local\Temp\install er.log).

    Also, do you have a running cbservice.exe processes? How many? Which user owns them?
