Cosmos assets forced re-download

I have my cosmos assets on an external drive - not ideal I know, but if the drive is not present when opening the revit file (or-initializing Vr I have to re-download them all again even though they reside on the drive.
When I reconnect my drive with my Cosmos folder there should be an option to refresh, relocate the assets instead of having to re-download/overwrite. Very time-consuming and not an energy saver either. Or am I missing a setting somewhere?

Seems like the problem is solved with restarting Revit with the cosmos folder available. Am I right?
