Cosmos Assets in Grasshopper

Is it possible to use grasshopper to distribute and render cosmos assets?

Hi andreas_schermann

Yes, it is possible. You can merge the desired asset so you can copy-paste the proxy file location in the V-Ray Proxy Mesh File Path slot.

Merging the asset will also show the Proxy Mesh' materials which you can then select from the V-Ray Proxy Mesh Material slot - just make sure they are in the correct order.

There are a few ways to distribute the proxies. You can basically achieve that with V-Ray Instancer or you can instance the Proxy Mesh itself, as demonstrated in the attached images. Hope this will be of help!
