Cosmos browser only shows downloaded assets

  • Cosmos browser only shows downloaded assets

    I have not used Chaos Cosmos in a long time and once I opened it in Rhino today, the browser would only show previously downloaded assets. All other categories are not displaying 3D assets. I need some guidance please on how to access the cosmos library online. Using latest Rhino 7 version and latest VRay for Rhino 5 on Win 11.

    Which version of Chaos Cosmos do you use?
    Could you please share a screenshot from your Cosmos Browser?
    Do you use some sort of proxy or firewall?
    Please try to go over the existing categories, are there any effect?

                Hello @sayed_majidi​,

                Could you please contact the Chaos support team for resolving your issue - https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/requests/
                They will ask you to provide the following files:
                - C:\Program Files\Common Files\ChaosGroup\ChaosCosmos\cb.log
                - C:\Program Files\Common Files\ChaosGroup\ChaosCosmos\config.json

                The error from the screenshot above means that your machine has a problem to connect to the Chaos servers for some reason (e.g. missing proxy configurations, etc.)
