Download All Missing Assets

I am using VRay for SketchUp and sometimes I open a file in another location or on another machine and it might be missing many assets - it would be great to have a tool and just tells the file to download all the missing Cosmos assets.

That's a good idea. I was thinking that its just a function that instead of clicking each icon to download all the missing Cosmos assets, that you could just click something that says "download all missing assets"

That would be amazing to have, I often now work between office and home and have problems with assets all the time. A lot of the times some of them will be corrupt and i have to replace them.

Additionally, working between home and office, what I have noticed when I merge any assets for more in depth modification I lose that connection. Then have to go into each part of the asset and relink ie leaf Diff. He is finding the folder with that asset ie English Oak but is not able to link it to the diffuse layer. I do have to do it manually for each part, which takes a long time. Do you have any smarter way of dealing with this issue ? Thanx !

I just built a new computer and didn't migrate any data from original C drive where Cosmos assets were stored. Now I have missing assets and no way to quickly and conveniently re-download and replace.

A proposal to iterate and perform necessary download/update of all Cosmos scene assets with a single click is already logged as a feature improvement.
The discussion about its implementation is now reinitialized among the dev team. Thanks you all for sharing your thoughts on the subject! We'll post an update when the development begins and when to expect the change.

As for automatically syncing the same downloaded content between multiple machines- this is not something we are willing to explore due to multiple risks with such functionality. For the time being, reliance on manually-provided user consent to download Cosmos assets will remain.

Jarek88 , corrupted Cosmos assets are not something we are aware of. Do you use the same V-Ray version at your home and office machines? Are the files entirely unusable or they simply require to be updated/downloaded each one individually?
