Chaos Cosmos Materials are not showing

Chaos cosmos materials are not there in envision.. I can reach 3d models, but "presets" section is empty..

Hi, do you have other Chaos software installed? For example V-Ray or Corona? If so, please check if Cosmos assets are appearing there for you. This would help us understand if this is a product-specific issue (Envision only) or something is wrong with Cosmos in general.

Hi, i use Vray6 for sketchup and i can use all materials..

Please try this step-by-step:

• Uninstall Chaos Cosmos from the Windows "Add or remove programs" list
• Then delete this folder: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Chaos\Cosmos
• Download and install Cosmos again: https://download.chaos.com/?platform=47&product=62
• Go to your Windows Start Menu and search for:
  • "stop Chaos Cosmos Browser" - click it
  • then "start Chaos Cosmos browser" - click it

Check if Cosmos is working now.


In case the above steps did not help:

• Stop Cosmos using the shortcut here: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Chaos Group\Chaos Cosmos Browser
• Then delete all cpkg files which are located in C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Local\Chaos\Cosmos\ DB
• Start Cosmos using the shortcut here: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Chaos Group\Chaos Cosmos Browser
