Chaos Vantage v1.7.0 has been released and here are some of the highlights:

• Added support for override/clay material
• Added support for normal mapping
• Added Animated Geolocated mode for time-lapse sun animations
• Added support for 3DConnexion SpaceMouse controller
• Added support for jpeg output
• Added Ambient Occlusion controls in the UI
• Added "New" option to the File menu
• Added "Add all cameras" option to the render queue
• Added vantage file name in recent file list and title bar after saving it
• Improved ambient light:
  • Added ambient light color swatch
  • Increased ambient light intensity limit

Hello everyone!

Chaos Vantage v1.7.1 has been released and here are some of the highlights:

• Added partial support for V-Ray Edges texture (rounded corners are not supported)
• Added the geolocated sun animation to the saved .vantage file
• Added support for the Vantage shortcuts through the SpaceMouse/3DConnexion controller
• Improved UX: render dialog retains settings when closed
• Upper limit for the number of light tree samples set to 16
