Congratulations team ChaosGroup, Lavina is some incredible work!

So far so beautiful on my single RTX 2080 TI, I'm loving the unbelievably quick feedback and clean interface!

I know I am getting way ahead of myself here, but I hope this is the future way forward for V-Ray, to include all material controls etc. in the stand alone version or even better yet Lavina is third V-ray option in the select renderer drop-down in Max.

I have one question, I could not find a way to get a pure black background but still get a contribution from GI to my scene, to add some fill light @ 00:50 in the video?

It's not possible right now. We have it on the todo list, hopefully for the next beta.
