  • Please bring Lavina inside Max!

You really have to consider implementing Lavina INSIDE Max, Maya, etc. as an alternative option to VrayCPU and VrayGPU and also as a viewport replacement of the IPR.
External apps are nice and all, but nothing can beat having the extra functionality directly inside the host package.
I hope that should be one of your goals.

    Thanks,
    Greg

It is, but it will take time.
If it was that easy, it would have already been done

We are developing Project Lavina as an independent app for the time being so we can go quickly - both in terms of development speed and interactive rendering performance (and stability). Working alongside where V-ray is integrated will be looked at eventually, but our independent application will certainly continue - so please keep the feedback here coming! As for replacing Max, we don't want you all to wait a decade for us to have a version 1 of that

If you could collaborate with Tyson Ibele and multiply him five times, that decade would be a year or less...
Jokes aside, Project Lavina looks stellar and could be a game-changer...
