How much of the material info is imported into Lavonia

  • How much of the material info is imported into Lavonia

    So I exported a vrscene out of Rhino with 9 teapots and fairly complex materials. They went into Lavina easily but the materials were simplified. No bump maps, no texture maps, just the reflectivity and diffuse color. Is that a limit of Lavina currently.

    Yes, there are limitations to what Lavina supports, it's a separate engine, not V-Ray GPU.

    We are working on minimizing these limitations.

    It will be very helpful, if you send me the .vrscene (with textures). My e-mail is in my signature.
    Then I will also be able to tell you what's most likely causing the differences.
