Automatic zoom with mouse wheel button

Does anyone know how to turn of the automatic zoom when pressing the mouse wheel button?

Do you really mean pressing the button or just scrolling with it? I don't think you can disable the zoom upon scrolling - it's present in all navigation presets (Edit->Preferences->Interaction). However, there is no zoom on pressing the wheel. It's possible that your mouse is a bit too sensitive and detects a forward/backward motion when you press it and registers it as a scroll event.

It's when pressing the mouse wheel. In 3ds Max pressing and holding the mouse wheel down allows me to move the camera/view, so I thought the same applied for Lavina. When pressing the scroll wheel it takes multiple "zoom steps"'. This doesn't happen in 3ds. Max or True View, so not sure if my mouse is to sensitive.
