GPU limit?

hello. Does Lavina have a limit to the number of GPUs it can use? Not interested in NVLink, just wondering if it would work on a machine with 4 or even 8 GPUs?

Yes. Project Lavina is limited to using 2 GPUs, and automatically uses your most capable GPUs if you have more than two.

If the GPUs are NVLinked, the whole group counts as 1 device towards this limit, so you could run a 4-way "SLI" setup for example (this was fixed in 0.5.0 -- it didn't work properly before). The issue with many separate devices is that the PCI-e connection is too slow.
