Can substance materials (sbsar files) be exported from Max to Lavina? Max 2021 - vray renderer
Early tests are not coming into Lavina and not sure I am doing everything correctly. Textures look good in Max.

As far as I know, the sbsar is baked into textures and they are embedded inside the .vrscene file, but Lavina doesn't support these embedded .vrscene textures.

We plan to support them at some point.

By the way, I forgot to mention this, even when we do support the embedded .vrscene textures, it will be more efficient to prebake the substance textures to disk.
This way, they don't have to be constantly rebaked when a .vrscene is exported.
But, of course, I realize this may not be convenient for your workflow.

Vantage 1.4.1, which we just released, supports these embedded .vrscene texture.
You should be able to use Substance sbsar files and even see them update in a live link session.

Note that prebaking to texture files on disk will still be more efficient in terms of the size of the .vrscene file and the time it takes to create it.
