    Greetings.
You really need to have more patience than a scant few hours for a response.
In the case of today, the team is hard at work finalizing a new version for release.
Tune back tomorrow to have the questions you deleted from your post answered in the new version.

    Kind regards,

You will now find our latest Beta for download - and it has in it the wish you had made for having a live-link with 3ds Max.
This took a while to get right, and that the reason for why beta builds haven't been coming as quickly.

      Kind regards,

      - Phil

        Hello cadman5,

Thanks for using Project Lavina, and thanks for your questions.

As Phillip mentioned, we've released a new build with a live link between 3ds Max and Lavina. That was the reason I've delayed my reply, Let me answer your questions below.

        1. Can you please give us an estimated roadmap of what can we expect from future releases/beta releases? I mean in the near month or two.
By the end of the year you can expect improving the live link between 3ds Max and Lavina. Additionally, we'll be improving rendering features such as bump and normal mapping and add some of the requested ones in the forum. We cannot give you an exact estimate, since adding a new feature is subject to how it affects performance.

        2. Would be possible to have a "live bridge" with 3dsmax so we don't have to export our vrscene files every time for testing?
As mentioned above, with today's build that is now possible. You are encouraged to give it a try and share your feedback.

        3. Will be vray displacement implemented real soon or is not an immediate priority?
The V-Ray on demand displacement is not on the short term road map but we will try to add it in a few months. Could you use the native 3ds Max Displace modifier to achieve similar results?

        4. Why is Lavina progressing so slow?
We are constantly working on adding new functionality and streamlining the Lavina workflow, while keeping the user experience real-time. It takes time making sure we add a new feature in an efficient way and even more time making sure the result resembles the result from V-Ray.

Besides the live link and displacement, what other features do you need in order to take full advantage of Lavina?

        Best regards,
        Simeon

Hi Daniel, I do care enough as I am still enthusiastic after 20 years using Vray, Yes, I was one of the first who downloaded the free Vray alpha version when Vray was in its infancy and never stopped using it.
Thanks to my enthusiasm and trust for the software and Vlado team, at least 3 companies I've been working for have acquired no less than 11 Vray licenses plus several upgrades. So yeah, I prefer to think I do care a little bit.

Thanks to Phil and Simeon for your kind answers and for implementing the Vray-Lavina live link.

Now "за пълно щастие" will be waiting for Lavina to support Vray displacement modifier.. Cheers.
