Keyframe count

So when I rendered a 20 sec sequence at 30fps it created 400-500 frames. When I went to render a 10 sec sequence with the same 30fps it said that it was rendering 3000 plus frames. How's that?

Closed and restarted and the keyframe count went to 300. Strange.

Are you looking at the framerate in the animation editor or the render sequence dialog? The latter applies.

In the progress window. But it went back to normal once I restarted.
