I have a 3090 and still run out of vram due to Forestpack. Granted I'm creating pretty lush tropical scenes; but my theory is that I will always push the limits of my hardware. That said, consider RTX cards and go for highest Vram you can afford. You'll grow into it if it's well above what you currently need IMO.
