  • Save Light Variations?

Is it possible to save light settings along with camera views so I can cycle through different visual styles in a single Vantage file? I'm using Rhino to export a .vrscene and then setting up cameras in Vantage, but since the Sun settings seem to be global to the entire file, there is no simple way to click through different light variations (like going from a day scene to a night scene). If this isn't possible, what's a good workaround?

Can anyone answer this for me? Is this on the roadmap? It seems crucial to be able to save different light settings in a .vantage file. Otherwise, is the best workaround to simply save multiple .vantage files, one for each lighting setup?

      Hi skdeisher,

Sorry for the late reply. With the currently version of Vantage the best workaround is to save different .vantage files but there is a limitation in what you can save as light parameters. Only color, intensity, on/off and transformations are saved.
We are currently in development that will enable you to save such variations and different scene states. No ETA at the moment but we are aiming for its release either for the next or next next release.

      Best regards,
