  • Import Multiple cameras from 3DS Max?

Can you import 3DSMAX cameras in Vantage? I can import active animation (current animation range) cameras, but its one at a time and they always replace the current camera. I have static and animated cameras in 3DS Max (2021) but they dont seem to link or import to Vantage.

When you open a .vrscene file in Vantage, it should come in with all the cameras.
Do you have the latest V-Ray for 3ds Max and Vantage builds ?

Are you opening a .vrscene file or using the live link connection ?
The live link connection only transfers the current camera.

Otherwise, we need an example .max file and an exported .vrscene file to figure out what's wrong.

I was using the Live Link Connection. Per your comment I tried EXPORTING a static vrscene and it did preserve the cameras! Just another comment... I think the cameras cannot be hidden in MAX for them to import. That was another reason I was getting inconsistent results.
