Full screen mode

hi. i want to know how Vantage fullscreen. i know there is hotkey Alt+Enter but I want to show vantage without any toolbars and menu.

Hi. Press Alt+Enter to fill up the screen and then press ` (the key above Tab) to enter "first person" mode - this hides the UI except for the status line at the bottom. You'd probably want to set your camera to Fill in case it wasn't ( https://docs.chaos.com/display/LAV/Camera+tab ).

Click ` (or ESC) and Alt+Enter again to return to normal mode.

thanks a lot. but I want to use this mode in the live link. I think person mode is not useful for live link.

I see. You can hide the side panels by double clicking on their tabs. That's the most you can do in live link. The top and bottom toolbars will remain, but most of the window will be occupied by the viewport. It's not much different from the V-Ray VFB when you set it up this way. Only the animation slider takes some area that the VFB doesn't. It's also useful to enable "always on top" from Edit->Preferences->UI when using Vantage as a VFB replacement.

I really thank you for your support. but I saw a tutorial video and I attach a photo from that video. you can see how the vantage is really like a viewport in 3dsmax

Ah, you're right. We also have the CTRL+` command which hides the UI without entering first person mode. I haven't used it in a long time and forgot about it.

You can check and edit all available shortcut commands in Edit > Mouse and Key shortcuts

Hi Mr Pock,

The shortcuts should be same regardless of the windows version. However for different keyboard layout (e.g. English US, Deutsch, etc.)you have to see( or set) the appropriate shortcut in the Edit > Mouse and Key shortcuts menu.

Sorry do not understand the keys CTRL + `command
the CTRL is clear to me but the command key? And if I try all the available keys in connection with the CTRL key, I don't get this result with the full screen mode?
I only have fullscreen but I still see the other command lines and not like in the picture where all the command lines are hidden?
I want the display for the Live Sync as on the JPG:

I also have a question how do I get to the command line?

The command is an additional exe which you run from CMD located in the installation folder of Vantage. You can check the docs here: https://docs.chaos.com/display/LAV/C...d+Line+Options
