Hello. I had a problem. When I drag the camera shots to the timeline, it appears as an orange box. it does not look like this in the videos I watched.

The video must be using an older version. They appear to have changed it a little.
You can switch to 'shot' view to see it more clearly and adjust things such as its duration etc.

yes, you are right. this is hard to edit in time mode. because orange boxes are too small.

Yeah it is a little odd....not sure of the thinking behind it working like this but maybe they had a reason...

          Hello, yones, hi fixeighted

Yes, we updated the GUI a bit. We now have two animation editor views - time based and shot based. Additionally, cameras are now only transient, and act like key frames. This means in the time based editor, cameras will be displayed only as these orange lines. The other blocks are transitions that can be linear, eased (in, out or both) and pauses (essentially a still camera for a certain duration). To illustrate the workflow better, observe the following screenshots of the same animation.

          1. The orange lines indicate cameras (or keys)
          2. Blue blocks are transitions between the cameras (curve indicates easing)
          3. Gray blocks are pauses
          4. Block size represents duration of the transition/pause and are synced with the playhead

          1. The orange thumbnails again indicate cameras, but due to their size in the timeline, they are not synced with the playhead and timeline
          2. Blue blocks are again transitions between cameras
          3. Gray block - pauses
          4. Block size is just an icon, it does not represent actual duration
The shot mode is meant to be more convenient when you just want to queue up cameras and set transitions between them, while the time mode is more precise for setting and visualizing the time it will take for a transition.

Yeah it is a little odd....not sure of the thinking behind it working like this but maybe they had a reason...
I hope this clears it up and please do let us know if you have any suggestions on how we can further improve the workflow.

          Best regards,
          Simeon
