Currently there isn't a way to duplicate/copy objects inside Vantage but it's in our To Do list. Unfortunately I cannot give you a timeframe when this feature will be available.

Yes, this is something that is being worked on at the moment and will be available in some of the next releases. Please keep an eye at the Announcement section where we post new releases and changelogs.

We have this feature in Vantage 2.0. You can select objects and press Ctrl+D to duplicate them.
Note that :
- the new objects are instances of the originals and are saved in the .vantage file.
- the new objects have the same transformation as the original, so you need to move them (the move tools is auto-activated with ctrl+d).
- you can keep pressing ctrl+d while moving an object if you want to quickly scatter it (a tree) for example.
