Forest Pack Delay

Hello, when use live link and forest pack tools, changing parameters in Forest pack, Causes the software to lock for a while.

The delay depends on the number of instances you have.
If you could temporarily reduce them while modifying parameters, it might be faster.

Which software, 3dsMax or Vantage ?

no problem in vantage, the scene is simple and my hardware is RTX3090 24G. when changing parameters in the forest (in live mode with vantage) 3dsmax makes crashes for a while.

Since it's 3ds Max that gets locked, this must be caused by the translation that V-Ray for 3ds Max does - from a ForestPro object to internal V-Ray scene instances.

Not sure if anything can be done about it, but it's something that our V-Ray for 3ds Max team is probably aware of.
