vray sun from Rhino to Vantage

When connecting a Rhino scene with vray sun to Vantage, only physical sky setting shows up in the light tab. Contrary, scenes from 3dsmax in Vantage show the vray sun under the light tab. Is this not possible for Rhino scenes loaded into Vantage? Thanks for your feedback.

Are you testing when in Live Link? Because during a Live Link session there shouldn't be any lights displayed in the Light tab. Can you record a video of how are you setting your scene?

Hi Alexander,
I am saving a vrscene from Rhino (with vray sun set up) and then load it into Vantage. It only shows physical sky under light tab. As for lights it shows N/A only. Can you explain how to set up the vray sun in Rhino to be exported in vrscenes? Thanks.

Which V-Ray for Rhino version are you using? There really isn't much setup. I enable the 'Rhino Document Sun' and in the Background texture slot(Settings>Environment>Background) I add VRay Sky texture in the texture slot and it works in my test. Does that work for you?

Yes it does, thanks. I was under the impression that the sun shows up when in live link session. Can the rhino sun be animated?

As far as I know the sun in Rhino can be animated through grasshopper(eg https://drive.google.com/uc?id=10TB_...RlbI-mLqkKvBKO). I am not aware how to animate it otherwise in Rhino. You can animate the sun in Vantage when you set the sun position mode to Animated Geolocation:https://youtu.be/o5F9Tdt7ZOk?t=342
