    I have it at one light tree samples, should I increase it? is 500 AA samples too much?

      The noise in the lantern in front of the house can definitely be improved by more light tree samples.

      It's hard to say what the ideal combination is.
      500 AA samples can be too much or too little depending on what you have in the scene.

      If you have lots of lights, using more light tree samples might be better than increasing AA samples.

      You can try different setups by rendering a few frames until you are happy with the result.

        HI! here is how the final video looks. Still has some flickering, a lot less, but is still there. I used 300 samples and 16 light trees. Is there anything else I should bump up? thanks!

          Well, you could
          - bump up the AA samples even further than 300 OR
          - try disabling the light cache from File->Advanced settings, as it could be causing flickering in some cases
          (this could also lead to more flickering however).

            Hi! moved to another project and now I have more questions maybe in the same subject. I'm rendering at 4k, AA 400, and 12 light trees.

            1. If you ay 0:02 the light coming from the door and projecting under the dark sofa changes of angle, the reflection, why does this happen?
            2. In the background you can see some flickering on the edges of the objects, I'm assuming this happens bc of the camera speed vs the frame rate (currently at 30fps), would you agree?

              Try disabling "dynamic textures" in Render->Advanced. It looks like the floor texture level of detail change causes the change in reflections there.

              I wasn't able to see the edge flickering though.

                Nikola is right, it's most likely the dynamic textures in combination with bump mapping that's causing this.
                Can you send us the scene or at least the floor with its material and textures ?

                        I don't think that's the correct one ?
                        Can you please save the floor in its own scene and make sure it has the correct material and also that the OneDrive link includes all required textures ?

                            It's still the same concrete material in this scene too.
                            Please save the object separately (from File->Save Selected...) as I can't keep downloading and checking 1.5 GB max files each time.
                            Also I need the textures for the material, mostly the bump texture.

                                We've released Vantage 1.8.2, where the flickering issue with dynamic textures + bump mapping should be fixed.
                                However, we've tested only internal scenes to confirm the fix, as we didn't receive any user ones.
