  • render animation with vantage on a different pc?

hello. can i render an animation from 3ds max using two video cards on a 2nd PC, like distributed gpu rendering? 2 cards is still the max right? thanks.

You could render a single image like that using manual DR setup, but animation is more complicated and not possible currently.

        another thought:

if i have a render node license on the 2nd machine, could i transfer a vrscene file to it, launch vantage and render it then?

        thanks,

You could render a file on another machine (including through a console/batch command), but Vantage uses its own license. You can't use a V-Ray Render node license for that.

ok i think itll work because if im not using vantage on my main pc, that license will be free.
