Apple and eGPU / e.g. Blackmagic eGPU

Hi,

as far as I know, using Vantage on Apple OSX is impossible. Is there a way or has anyone tried already to use an external eGPU like the Blackmagic eGPU?

Would this work? Also to improve render speed with VRay 6 in eGPU mode?

If so, this would be a great way, to update my iMac.

Indeed, Vantage uses DXR and is Windows only. No plans to support another OS at this time.

Also, Apple has disallowed the use of NVIDIA GPUs in any way, including external boxes and compute-only operation, for several years now. This unavailability of suitable hardware is the primary reason Vantage is not on MacOS.
