New SSS thin-walled translusency doesnt work

Hi,

I heard some time ago that Vantage support VRay 2sided material for translucency. I am using thin-walled option in VRaymtl because is very fast and modern way of doing translucency for thin objects like grass or leaves. But it seams that Vantage ignoring this settings. Do I have to change all materials in scene to 2Sided to have translucency effect? Or do you plan to add this in near future?

Hi Jiri.Matys,

We do have it in the To Do list but it will not be implemented that soon. I would suggest for the time being to convert the thin-wall materials to VRay2Sided material in order to look properly in Vantage.

Until then, please is there any script which can do that for all materials?
