  • Is render element in vantage 2 can be denoised as well ?

    Hello team ,
i am glad about the render element passes in vantage 2 but the reflection or specular pass remain very grainy as if it wasnt denoised.
Is there a way to denoise thoses render passes ? like same as vray "denoise render element " checkbox .

HI, thanks for posting. Vantage is not denoising the render elements as of now. We will update the documentation about this.

Vray offers a denoiser tool that allows you to denoise rendered images? Maybe that could help.

        Hi,
I wanted to follow up on the subject of noisy render elements in Chaos Vantage. It is great to see that many Render Elements have been added, however - most of them can not be used in the Post Production process due to the high level of noise. Are there any plans of adding a denoiser for the Elements? Thank You

Hi, denoising of render elements is still not available in Vantage. We have this feature request logged in our system (LAV-1562). I will update it with this thread.

Also bumping this. I've gone to use the reflection pass to boost some highlights, and I can't use with when it's too noisy.

The only usefully pass for me had been refraction and specular. Plus masks, all others are useless since they are not denoised.
