Rendering time indicator not showing

Ever since I upgraded the render time indicator/window does show up. it says HD rendering is happening, but no estimated time like before. Rendering stills.

Hi, thanks for posting. Are you using Live LInk or not?
What version of Vantage do you use? Here is how it looks on my setup, using Vantage 2.1

Using latest version...no live link. I'll check again, but what you're showing is what I'm use to seeing.

So I found the problem: When I click on the PIN icon the timer is forced to stay behind the Vantage window so users can't abort, pause or see time remaining. When it's off the timer shows up in front of the Vantage viewport.

I suspected it might be related to that, but I tried this earlier and it didn't hide the progress dialog. I guess there is some additional circumstance that affects it and this is why we haven't noticed such an issue.

That led me into thinking you can see the dialog but the progress bar is not moving. If the dialog does not show up at all then this is the already logged issue LAV-1606

Steps to replicate the issue:

1. Close Vantage if already open.
2. Open Vantage.
3. Enable AoT.
4. Hit HQ render.
5. The progress dialog is missing.

I will add your thread to the list and raise the priority.

Our ticket also lists this as a workaround: "Once you disable AoT (always on top) and render once, the dialog will show again and will always work for the rest of the session. With and without AoT"

(I guess this is why I couldn't reproduce it yesteday)
