  • Chaos Denoiser tool standalone for denoising Vantage sequence

    Hi all,

I tried to use the "chaos Denoiser tool standalone" to denoise a sequence of .exr images rendered with Vantage, in order to set up the "Temporal Denoiser NVIDIA AI" to check if doing it this way would reduce flickering. Unfortunately, I believe that Vantage doesn't export all the necessary render elements for the denoiser to work, right? It gave me the error message attached. I ask you: even if you were to add the necessary render elements to Vantage to make the denoiser tool work, do you think it might be better calculated this way or would it yield the same results as the NVIDIA AI denoiser used directly in Vantage when rendering the sequence?
I thought that since I already have the entire sequence of images calculated, the temporal denoiser might work better, but perhaps I'm mistaken...

    Best regards,

This is the same AI denoiser that Vantage uses, so I don't expect any difference.
