I'm trying to create an animation with Vantage 2.5.1 with Motion Blur but had no succes, i exported the scene as Vray Scene, changed Shutter Speed, activated Motion Blur and rendered as image and video and i don't have any effects... now i'm wondering if the problem it's the software, it's the first time i try to render this effect.

    Thank you

Does it work with 2.4? Would be a good way to see if it's the upgrade.

Since this is a post-effect, it is not affected by shutter speed. It has a separate duration parameter in the camera settings. Try setting it to the maximum value and see if it blurs: https://docs.chaos.com/display/LAV/C...Tab-MotionBlur

There is a separate checkbox to toggle it for offline rendering as you've probably seen.

i saw a tutorial made with an old version of vantage https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cxq3...nel=BOCACADEMY and make the same steps with no positive results.

i set the MB values to maximum, 0.100 and theres no MB effect. i turned MB on in camera effects and render settings.

Thank you for reporting this, I have logged it in our system(LAV-1954) and we will get a fix for it in the next release.

Oh wow, I am so glad I noticed this post.
I was about to get a subscription for Vantage for a current job, but the fact that motion blur is now broken would have meant a huge waste of money
              and an extremely angry me.

Will this be fixed rapidly, given it's obviously a pretty major issue?

If all goes smoothly we plan to release a hotfix that will include the fix for the motion blur this week.

                Best regards,

Motion blur is broken only in 2.5.0 and 2.5.1, not in older versions.

Hello again comrades. I have downloaded the new version (2.6) and tested my scene again and i see no changes or effect applied. Could you please confirm if the problem has been solved? Thank you very much.

Have you made sure to enable motion blur in the render dialog (it overrides the option in the camera panel)? I double checked - it works on my end.
