  • timeline and camera animations

this may have been asked/answered in a lot of the posts i've been reading, but using different terms than i'm used to.

my question is: if i create several different cameras, do they all have to be on one row of one timeline (in shot mode). so for example, i've rendered out the 1st shot, now i want to do a 2nd shot, so when i render the 2nd shot i need to say "start frame 300 end frame 390" then if i wanted to do a 3rd shot, i would render it out and say "start frame 390 end frame 500" etc... they all "pile up" on the time line.

Hi, thanks for posting. Multiple animated cameras are aligned one by one in the timeline in a sequential order. You could use the Render Queue for rendering multiple cameras.

ok. so if i have 3 different cameras, each camera needs to have a start/stop (so to speak) in the timeline (animation editor) then i can go to the render queue and add "camera 1" "camera 2" "camera 3" and just let it render from there. thanks.
