  • Duplicating scene animation??

    Hi,

Is there possibility to duplicate anima people animation in the editor timeline? I just want to have the same animation in different animated cameras. I have 11 different animated cameras in timeline (to render them all in one rendering) and now I just have option to render 1600 frame animation to cover the whole timeline.
I have exported the anima people animations as a vrscene to another vrscene.

Here is picture what I want to do but don't know how:

Scene animation should already be looping by default. Does it not?

Nope! I just get that one 200fr animation in timeline. Even I check the "loop animation" box in the import settings.

        Hi toni_pallari,

Can you please check the behavior in the previous release(2.5.2) because maybe this could be a regression?

        Best regards,

It won't work if you check "Loop animation" after opening or merging a scene. It has to be checked before that.

Can you open your .vantage file in a text editor, search for "loop_animation" and check if it's 'true' everywhere ?

It's not possible to change this from the UI, so if it's 'false', you can either edit the file and set it to 'true' or
recreate your Vantage scene making sure the "loop animation" preference is ON the whole time.

Turns out there is a bug in Vantage 2.6.0 and the "loop animation" preference is ignored when merging scenes.

                Hi toni_pallari,

We won't be shipping the fix for this in 2.6.1, it will be however part of the 2.6.2 update(around next or the week after).

                Best regards,
                Alexander
