Multimatte in Vantage setup problem

I'm trying to setup a multimatte render element in Vantage following this Multi Matte Details - Chaos Vantage - Global Site. But apparently I'm doing something wrong. I have paused the live link, selected the object and clicked 'add multimatte object'. Nothing happens. The list is empty and the render element in the setup window shows 'multimatte(0)'. I can't even find the details menu described in the link. I'm using 3dsmax 2024 and Vantage 2.6.

Hi qiuseppe_tonello,

The Multimatte object should be set in 3ds Max as no object creation and manipulation is supported when in Live Link. If you create your multimattes while in Live link, you need to restart the Live link connection so that they can be selected in the Render elements window:https://drive.google.com/file/d/1j-Y...usp=drive_link
The multimatte object can be created in standalone Vantage without Live link connection. Additionally a Multimatte object will be available in the Scene outliner if such render elements exist in the loaded .vrscene.
